Hundreds of twins gather at convention in Taiwan

Hundreds of sets of twins gathered for a special convention in Taiwan. Entitled “Happiness in Taipei: Twins of Taiwan Unite,” the event was organised by the government.

Some of the twins at the event dressed up in matching cute costumes such as pandas and cowboys, while others didn’t seem too sure what they were dressed as.

Two sets of twins and triplets five boys all wore the same yellow hoodies and it seemed that their mother had difficulty in identifying them.

“Wearing these outfits today, I can’t even figure out whose children they are!”

However, the mother of a set of four-year-old twin sister didn’t have such a problem to distinguish her girls because the elder sister is 15 centimetres taller than the younger one.

But it wasn’t just little twins who attended the convention. A set of elderly twins, a man and a woman in their eighties, also came along, becoming the oldest twins at the event.

Altogether, 415 sets of twins and triplets gathered at the convention which took place on February 15th.

Difficult words: convention (meeting of people who have something in common) entitled (named).
